Neveu Décors 15 ou 20 mm pour Wargames

About

Although I am new to this field, I have been painting my figurines for several years and making my own scenery.

Since November 2007, I have been making them myself out of resin.

I used to send photos of the miniatures I painted with the scenery I had made in the background.

I received many messages asking me where I got these scenery elements. I had no answer to give!

That's how I got the idea to share them with others so that I could make better quality ones for myself.

At first, I had to find a material that was strong enough to make them, that would last over time, and a quick way to make them.

Using resin and molding techniques seemed like the obvious choice.

However, the material needed to make the molds is very expensive, which initially discouraged me from making them.

So I made my decorations as I usually did and showed them to the players.

They were very enthusiastic when they saw them and encouraged me to try, interested in me making some for them too, which allowed me to continue making them.

For the initial funding, I used my savings.

I had to do some calculations to make sure the price was right and that I could recoup what I needed.

So I'm breaking even.

Sanding! It's very artisanal and messy!
